Key Responsibilities:
● Welcome customers and check required IDs upon their arrival.
● Help new customers with questions and update their details in the POS system.
● Ensure the waiting area and sales floor upkeep, restocking as necessary.
● Educate customers about cannabis properties, guiding them towards products fitting their
needs or specific effects.
● Efficiently manage online orders and adhering to state
regulations.
● Professionally address customer complaints, involving management when necessary.
● Continually update product knowledge and stay informed about cannabis trends.
● Accurately operate and maintain the POS system.
● Adhere to cash handling policies, undertake daily cash management, and ensure reporting
compliance.
● Assist with product intake, regular inventory counts, and audits.
● Ensure daily compliance with dispensary policies, including state/local regulations, security
measures, dress code, and work schedules.
Skills and Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED.
● Stellar customer service and communication abilities.
● Basic computer literacy.
● Budtender experience preferred but not mandatory.
● Familiarity with POS systems a plus.
● Comprehensive knowledge of various cannabis products.
● Understanding of the medical benefits of specific cannabis items.
● Physical ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and lift up to 25 pounds.
● A team player with the capability to work independently.
● Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
● Minimum age requirement: 21 years, and must pass a background check.
